Refund and Exchange Policy

We take pride in offering carefully curated Sri Lankan products with attention to quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

Please read our Refund & Exchange Policy carefully before placing your order.

Exchanges

We accept exchanges for eligible items within 4 days of receiving your order.

To qualify for an exchange:

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original condition
  • Original packaging, tags, and seals must be intact
  • Proof of purchase or order confirmation must be provided

Once your exchange request is approved, customers may:

  • Exchange for another item of equal value
  • Pay the difference for a higher-value item
  • Receive store credit for future purchases

Non-exchangeable Items

For hygiene, safety, and product integrity reasons, the following items are not eligible for exchange or return unless damaged upon arrival:

  • Opened tea or spice products
  • Used candles or home fragrance products
  • Personalized or custom-made items
  • Sale or promotional items
  • Gift cards

Damaged or Incorrect Order

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photographs of the item and packaging

We will assess the issue and arrange a replacement, exchange, or suitable resolution where applicable.

Refunds

At this time, Love Ceylon does not offer refunds for change of mind or preference-based purchases.

Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances, including:

  • Items that are out of stock after purchase
  • Orders that cannot be fulfilled
  • Proven manufacturing defects that cannot be replaced

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 working days.

Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Customers are responsible for exchange shipping costs unless the item received was incorrect or damaged.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

Natural Variations

Many Love Ceylon products are handcrafted or made using natural materials. Slight variations in colour, texture, wood grain, coconut shell shape, fabric print placement, or botanical elements are considered part of the product’s uniqueness and not defects.
